Real Systems That Actually Work
Our floral event service runs on straightforward technology that gets the job done. No fancy buzzwords here—just honest tools that help us deliver fresh arrangements across Baku efficiently. We've spent years figuring out what works and what doesn't.
Most people don't think about the tech behind flower delivery, but it matters more than you'd expect. When someone needs arrangements for a corporate event or wedding, timing becomes everything.
How We Keep Things Running Smoothly
We built our order management system from scratch back in 2023 after struggling with generic software that just didn't understand event floristry. The difference between a regular flower shop and what we do is huge—events need coordination across multiple venues, specific delivery windows, and backup plans when the unexpected happens.
Our current setup tracks inventory in real-time, which sounds simple until you're working with perishable products that have maybe a week of shelf life. We know exactly which suppliers have what we need, current pricing, and delivery schedules. This lets us give clients accurate quotes instead of vague estimates.
The routing software was something we added in early 2024. Baku's traffic patterns can be unpredictable, especially during wedding season when we're making multiple stops. The system adjusts routes based on actual traffic data, and our drivers can communicate changes immediately through their mobile interface.
Three Core Components
We focus on the fundamentals rather than chasing every new trend. These three areas get most of our attention because they directly affect service quality.
Client Communication Hub
Event planners need updates, not silence. Our messaging system sends automatic confirmations, delivery notifications, and photo documentation. Clients can reach us through their preferred channel—email, phone, or messaging app. Everything gets logged so nothing falls through cracks.
Supply Chain Coordination
Working with multiple flower suppliers means staying on top of availability and quality. We've integrated direct feeds from our main partners, giving us up-to-date information about what's fresh and ready. This prevents the awkward situation of promising roses when they're actually scarce.
Event Scheduling Engine
Large events involve setup crews, delivery drivers, and sometimes installation teams at different venues. The scheduling system accounts for travel time, setup requirements, and backup resources. When a venue changes the access time, we can adjust the entire schedule within minutes rather than hours.
Rochus Steinhoff
Systems Manager
Rochus joined us in late 2023 after working in logistics technology. He rebuilt our routing algorithms and reduced average delivery times by about 20 percent. His background in supply chain management made a noticeable difference.
Svetlana Kovalenko
Technical Operations Lead
Svetlana manages the day-to-day technical operations and handles integration with our partner systems. She's been with Zaniah Quanterix since we started building our custom platform and knows every quirk in the system.
Mobile Tools for Field Teams
Our delivery and setup crews use tablets that stay synced with the main system. They can mark tasks complete, upload photos for client verification, and flag issues immediately. Weather delays, traffic problems, venue access issues—whatever comes up gets communicated in real time.
We're planning some upgrades for autumn 2025, including better offline functionality for areas with spotty connectivity. Some venues have basement loading areas where cellular signal gets weak, and we need the system to handle that gracefully.
If you're organizing an event in Baku and want to know more about how our systems support reliable floral service, we're happy to walk through the details. The technology serves the flowers, not the other way around.
